Product Description

The X5B Extreme from Vic Firth is a longer version of the popular 5B model, crafted from premium American hickory with a wood Tear Drop tip. The added length gives extra reach and power without losing the feel of the 5B. Sold as a 4-pack, meaning four pairs of sticks.

• Crafted from premium USA hickory
• Wood Tear Drop tip for a focused sound
• Medium taper
• Lacquer finish
• Included in delivery: 4 pairs of sticks

Feel and Use

Hickory gives a good balance of durability, tone and vibration absorption, making the stick comfortable to play over long sessions. The extra length compared to the 5B is most noticeable in reach and power, a useful trait if you want to cover more ground on your kit or add extra force without switching to a heavier model.

About the American Classic Series

The X5B Extreme is part of Vic Firth's American Classic series, which gathers the most requested traditional stick models. The wood is carefully selected and inspected to maintain consistent, high quality across the range.
