Vic Firth VicKick VKB2
VicKick VKB2 bass drum beater in maple with a metal shaft. Round head with a flat cut side gives two distinct sounds and strong punch.
Product Description
The VicKick VKB2 is a bass drum beater made from maple wood with a metal shaft, built for players who want a harder attack and real punch from the kick drum. The head is round with cut-off sides, so you can turn the beater around and play on the flat side for a completely different sound. Fits all common bass drum pedals.
Wood for a harder attack
Unlike felt or rubber beaters, the wood surface of the VKB2 gives a harder attack with clear kick drum punch and a slightly softer front end. It's a classic sound with a modern twist.
Two striking surfaces, two sounds
The head is round but has cut-off sides. That lets you turn the beater and use the flat side instead of the rounded one, giving a different sound from the same bass drum. Handy if you want to experiment with tone without switching beaters mid-set.
Metal shaft
The shaft is made from quality metal, giving the beater a stable and consistent feel when playing.
