Vic Firth 5B American Classic hickory vic grip
Vic Firth American Classic 5BVG drumsticks, hickory with Vic Grip coating for improved grip. 15.1mm diameter, 406.4mm length.
Product Description
Vic Firth Vic Grip 5B is an American Classic 5B in hickory with a thin rubber coating on the grip area for considerably improved grip. Apart from that the sticks are identical to the regular American Classic 5B.
Vic Grip Coating
The Vic Grip finish is a rubber material applied thinly to the grip area of the sticks. This makes them perfect for anyone who has trouble with sticks slipping out of their hand or who likes direct grip. With Vic Grip you can play longer, harder and faster with less risk of dropping the stick.
Material And Dimensions
The sticks are made of hickory, 15.1mm in diameter and 406.4mm long. Hickory withstands a lot of impact and is therefore very durable. The taper is Medium, which describes how the stick narrows towards the tip.
Tip And Sound
The tip is a wood tip of the Tear Drop type, deeply back-cut for enhanced cymbal response. Tight wood with a bit of flex gives a more pronounced sound.
