Product Description
The Vic Firth T4 American Custom Timpani Ultra Staccato mallets pair a maple shaft with the hardest felt head in the American Custom lineup, giving a clear, powerful attack with plenty of punch. Built for timpani, they also work well on cymbals, tom-toms, and general drum set use.
T4 delivers the clearest rhythmic projection of the felt models – ideal for concert playing where the sound needs to cut through without turning soft or muddy.
Construction
The shaft is maple, chosen for balance and control, paired with a hard white felt head roughly 34.9 mm in diameter, fitted with high precision. Overall length is 36.83 cm. The head hardness is rated Hard – the firmest among the felt models in the range, designed for concert application.
