Product Description

The Vic Firth SIH3 is a pair of stereo isolation headphones that reduce outside noise by around 25 decibels – ideal for playing along with music, practising to a click, or getting safe, leak-free monitoring in the studio without drowning in drum volume. This redesigned version features a larger driver for a more powerful low end, cleaner mids and clearer highs, along with an improved padded headband and a sleek carbon-fibre look.

Inside each earcup sits a 50 mm dynamic Mylarcon speaker. The headphones connect via a 1/8" (3.5 mm) plug, with a 1/4" (6.3 mm) adapter included, and come with a 1.8 m cable.

Our Tips

• Practising with music: The isolation lowers the volume of your acoustic drums so you can actually hear the track you're playing along to – a fun and effective way to practise.
• Practising to a click: Plug into your metronome and play to a click comfortably, without cranking the volume to dangerous levels.
• Recording: Works great as studio monitoring headphones. They block out room acoustics while keeping sound contained, reducing the risk of bleed into your microphones.
