Vic Firth SD2 American Custom Bolero
Product Description
The Vic Firth SD2 American Custom® Bolero is a drumstick crafted from carefully selected maple. It's a classic choice in the orchestra pit and a favourite for practising snare technique. The small, round tip gives a comfortable playing feel, and combined with the relatively thick diameter, it makes the stick excellent for softer, more controlled playing.
About the American Custom Series
The SD2 Bolero belongs to Vic Firth's American Custom line, turned from select rock maple for a lighter, fast-playing stick with great flex and rebound. It suits players who want a beefier stick without a lot of added weight, and is perfect for lighter orchestral work and pit playing. The shorter taper brings the balance toward the front of the stick, giving easier articulation in concert settings. The line also includes models for drum set playing, orchestral classics for snare technique practice, and marching models for those who want a lighter stick without sacrificing diameter.
Vic Firth was founded by percussionist Everett Firth (Vic Firth) in 1963 and has long been regarded as one of the most trusted names among percussionists worldwide – the SD2 Bolero reflects the quality behind that reputation.
