Vic Firth SD10 American Custom Swinger
Product Description
The Vic Firth SD10 American Custom® Swinger is turned from select rock maple, giving a lighter stick that still keeps some body in the attack. The wood tear drop tip delivers a light, clean cymbal sound, and the medium taper gives great balance and rebound.
The Swinger is a great choice when you're playing a full kit but want to keep the volume down without losing the feel of a slightly beefier stick. The maple keeps the weight down while the tip shape still gives fullness to the tone.
The stick is part of Vic Firth's American Custom line, which includes several popular models for kit playing, classics for orchestral use and rudiment practice, as well as marching models for players who want a lighter stick without going down in diameter. All models in the line are turned from top-grade wood and carefully inspected to hold the highest international quality standard. The finish is lacquered.
Vic Firth, founded by Everett "Vic" Firth in 1963, is one of the most respected names among percussionists worldwide, with everything from hickory sticks to brushes, rods and mallets for nearly every instrument imaginable.
