Product Description
The Vic Firth SAA2 is Alex Acuña's signature timbale stick, made from hickory with a purple lacquered grip. Designed for optimum response on timbales and cymbals, these sticks give a fast, clear attack for Latin percussion playing.
Design and Material
Alex Acuña has performed throughout his career with artists including Harry Belafonte, Elvis Presley, Diana Ross, Weather Report, Paul McCartney, Ella Fitzgerald, Chick Corea, Whitney Houston, and Carlos Santana. With the SAA2, he has designed a timbale stick in hickory, a wood that gives the stick strength and quick response on timbales and cymbals.
The grip is finished in a purple lacquer, making the stick easy to recognize in hand. Sold per pair.
