Vic Firth RUTE The Original
Vic Firth RUTE The Original Rods, drumsticks made of 16 birch rods with a solid birch handle. About 420mm long.
Product Description
Vic Firth RUTE The Original Rods are drumsticks built from 16 birch rods, mounted in a birch handle. They give a softer, acoustic sound with lower volume than regular drumsticks.
The handle is solid and gives a comfortable grip with a more stable feel than rods made of rods all the way through. The grip is about 19mm in diameter and each rod is about 3.2mm. The stroke becomes soft and percussive, which suits all-around rock, jazz and combo playing well. The sticks work both on drum kits and on various percussion instruments where you want a quiet sound.
