The Vic Firth RMWB is a pair of signature wire brushes developed with Russ Miller, giving each hand a dedicated brush with its own character. The Sweep brush uses medium gauge wire for a smooth, musical sound, while the Ride brush offers heavy gauge wire with a tight spread for clear projection and incredible rebound on drums and cymbals. Two Brushes, Two Jobs

The idea behind the RMWB is simple but effective: instead of two identical brushes, you get one dedicated to sweeping motions and one built for a clearer, more rhythmic attack. The Sweep brush uses medium gauge wire, giving a smooth, musical sound as it moves across the head or cymbal. The Ride brush uses heavier gauge wire with a tighter spread, delivering clear projection and rebound that makes fast tempos easier to play without losing control. Construction

Both brushes feature a retractable pull rod design with multiple positions, so you can safely choose how far the wires extend, and they stay locked in place during play. The grip is smooth, comfortable black rubber for a secure hold. Diameter is approximately 1.49 cm (14.85 mm), with a bristle spread of 12.7 cm.
