Vic Firth Re·Mix Rattan RM4 - Black

Product Description

The Vic Firth RM4 Re·Mix Rattan is the hardest model in the Re·Mix series, with rattan and birch dowels for the most volume and the most defined attack. The brushes work equally well on drum kits and percussion setups, and the 2 included O-rings let you pair them with other Re·Mix brushes to create your own sound combinations.

Re·Mix is a series of brushes from Vic Firth built for experimenting with sound. Play them as they are, or bundle two brushes from the series together using the included O-rings. Pairing a harder brush with a softer one gives a more distinct attack, two soft brushes give a fuller but still soft sound, and mixing different combinations in each hand opens up a wide range of tonal options. This model pairs especially well with any other RE·MIX brush for more attack.

The RM4 has rattan and birch dowels 0.793 cm thick, and is the hardest model in the series. Giving it the most volume and the most defined attack of all the Re·Mix models. The handle has a rubber grip surface for secure control, and the brushes are fixed (non-retractable). They are stackable for easy storage.

Who It's For

A great choice if you want brushes with a defined attack and plenty of volume, and if you like experimenting with different brush combinations to shape your sound. Equally at home in the rehearsal room, on stage, and in percussion settings.
