The Vic Firth PAD12D is a double-sided 12" practice pad with two very different playing surfaces – a grey side with a natural feel and a harder black side built to develop technique and stamina. It's a great way to work on rudiments, marches and chops without disturbing anyone around you.

Two Sides, Two Purposes

The grey surface feels natural and relaxed, close to playing on a real snare drum, which makes it good for everyday practice and groove work. Flip the pad over and you get a noticeably firmer black surface with less rebound, forcing better control and helping build endurance in the hands.
