The Vic Firth MUTEPP5 Drum & Cymbal Mute Prepack is a complete set of rubber mutes that quickly quiets down an acoustic drum kit for silent practice. The pads sit directly on the drumheads and cymbals, cutting the volume down almost completely in just a couple of minutes. The pack is complete for a classic standard setup with toms, snare, bass drum, hi-hat and two cymbals, and is available in several different configurations.

How it works

Each mute is a rubber disc placed directly on top of the drumhead or cymbal. The rubber cuts most of the volume without needing to take the kit apart or move any hardware. When it's time to play at full volume again, simply remove the pads.

Please note: the drum kit and cymbals themselves are not included, only the mute pads.
