Vic Firth Modern Jazz 4 – MJC4
The MJC4 has a 5B-sized diameter but runs a bit longer than usual, paired with a long taper and a barrel-shaped tip. Crafted from maple, it gives a lighter feel, an airier response and a warm, woody sound. The barrel wood tip delivers a focused, articulate sound from your cymbals, while the long taper adds balance and rebound.
The MJC4 is part of Vic Firth's Modern Jazz Collection, a set of sticks developed together with drummers including Jeff Ballard, Greg Hutchinson, Joe McCarthy and Lewis Nash.
