Product Description
Vibraphone mallets designed together with renowned percussionist Gary Burton, featuring yarn-wound heads and rattan handles. The mallets deliver a warm, controlled tone with strong dynamic range across the vibraphone's register. Sold in pairs.
Vic Firth's keyboard and timpani mallets are developed with top artists to cover a range of instruments and all dynamic levels. The round, medium-hardness head gives a soft attack while keeping the tone clear and defined – a good balance for players who need both delicate, singing passages and more articulate phrasing.
Construction
The handle is made of rattan, giving the mallet natural spring and feel in the hand. The head is wound in blue yarn, round in shape with a medium hardness – a classic combination for vibraphone playing.
