Vic Firth M113 Van Sice Signature Medium Soft 431,8 mm (17") - Charcoal Grey
Marimba mallets M113, Van Sice Signature (Vic Firth), maple handle, yarn head, Charcoal Grey. Medium soft, covers marimba's four lowest octaves.
Product Description
The Vic Firth M113 are Robert van Sice's signature marimba mallets, with a maple handle and an oval yarn-wound head. They are medium soft in hardness and cover the lower four octaves of the marimba with an even, controlled tone.
Respected internationally as a soloist and educator, Robert van Sice designed this series of yarn-wound marimba mallets with an exclusive hand-wrapping technique that virtually eliminates the sound of bar contact, giving a clean attack free of extra noise.
The 17" (431.8 mm) maple handle provides excellent feel and control at extended intervals on the keyboard. The yarn head comes in Charcoal Grey. The mallets are sold in pairs, and the price is per pair.
Part of a Series
The M113 belongs to Vic Firth's Signature Keyboard Mallets series. Within the series, rubber core models are mono-tonal, while synthetic core models are multi-tonal.
