Product Description
Vic Firth F1 American Classic sticks are turned from select hickory with a round wood tip, slightly thicker and longer than a 5A. The short taper offers added leverage and reach, with deeply back-cut tips for intensified cymbal response.
The F1 is part of Vic Firth's American Classic line, where the most classic stick models are made from carefully selected American hickory. A dense wood with little flex that gives a more pronounced sound and can withstand a great deal of shock, making it highly durable.
Tip and Response
The round wood tip helps accentuate cymbal sounds and is a great choice for music where your cymbals need to cut through the mix. The tips are deeply back-cut for intensified cymbal response, and the shorter taper with a bit of extra length offers added leverage and reach.
