The Vic Firth AS5B American Sound 5B takes the classic 5B model and fits it with a full, round tip in place of the usual wood shape. The larger surface area of the round tip brings extra focus and clarity to drums and cymbals, while keeping the feel and balance drummers know from the American Classic series.

The American Sound series takes Vic Firth's most popular American Classic models and equips them with a round tip. The increased surface area brings focus and clarity to drums and cymbals, giving drummers the ability to change their sound and color without sacrificing feel or balance. The sticks are made from carefully selected hickory wood.
