Product Description
Marimba mallets from Vic Firth's Anders Åstrand Signature Series, in orange. The cord head in Medium Soft hardness gives increased articulation compared to the M290, allowing broader coverage through the mid-range of the marimba. An excellent choice for ensemble, duet, or solo playing.
As a performer and clinician, Vic Firth artist Anders Åstrand has shared his unique sense of melodic and rhythmic exploration with audiences around the globe. As a composer, his work with brass quintets, choirs, and big bands has informed his own playing. This compositional mindset. Knowing when voices need to blend and when they need to shine. Set the tone for the two series (Orange/Blue) of mallets Anders created together with Vic Firth. The handle is made of rattan, and the mallets are sold in pairs.
