Vic Firth American Classic 5B Nylon Vic Grip

Product Description

The Vic Firth American Classic 5B Nylon Vic Grip is a 5B hickory drumstick with a nylon tip and a thin rubber coating (Vic Grip) applied to the grip area. It's a great choice if you sweat a lot on stage or simply want a more secure, direct feel in your hand.

The American Classic® line combines tradition and Vic Firth style. The Classics are turned from select hickory, a dense wood with little flex for a more pronounced sound. Hickory is also capable of withstanding a great deal of shock, making it highly durable. The tips are deeply back-cut for intensified cymbal response.

The nylon tip (tear drop shape) gives a clearer, more defined ride sound than a wood tip, while also delivering more punch on snare and toms and lasting longer.

The American Classic Series

American Classic is Vic Firth's line of traditional drumstick models, covering the classic sizes and variations most drummers know. The wood is carefully selected American hickory, the most common wood for drumsticks thanks to its combination of tone, durability, playability and vibration absorption. Every model in the American Classic range is made from premium hickory and carefully checked to meet the highest international quality standards.
