Vic Firth 5B American Classic hickory double glaze nylon
Vic Firth 5BDG Double Glaze 5B drumsticks in hickory, 15.1mm diameter, 406.4mm length, American Classic series with Double Glaze finish.
Product Description
Vic Firth 5BDG Double Glaze 5B are drumsticks in the American Classic series, made of hickory with a 15.1mm diameter and 406.4mm length. The surface has a Double Glaze finish.
Material
The hickory used for these sticks is American and carefully selected. The wood is dense with little bend, which gives a more pronounced sound. It gives tone, durability, playability and vibration absorption in harmony.
Feel
The clear lacquer in the Double Glaze finish gives a tacky feel suited to players with dry hands. The feel is consistent and classic, and the thick surface gives the stick a bit of extra mass for a steady feel in the hand.
Tip
The wood tip is shaped as a Tear Drop with a Medium taper. The tips are deeply back-cut, which gives an intensified cymbal response.
