Product Description
The Vic Firth American Classic 5A PureGrit is the world's most played drumstick, now customized with a lacquer-free, PureGrit-processed surface for a raw and natural feel. A great option if you tend to sweat and find lacquered sticks too slick.
The American Classic line combines tradition and Vic Firth style. With bold designs, the Classics are turned from select hickory, a dense wood with little flex for a more pronounced sound. Hickory is also capable of withstanding a great deal of shock, making it highly durable. The tips are deeply back-cut for intensified cymbal response.
Lacquer-free with special PureGrit processing for an unfinished, gritty texture, this 5A profile keeps the exact specs of a standard American Classic 5A, just without the lacquer.
