Vic Firth 2B hickory nylon

Product Description

Vic Firth 2BN are thicker drumsticks from the American Classic series, made of Hickory with a nylon tip. They are a bit longer than 5A and 5B, and appeal to drummers who hit hard and want something that lasts.

Construction

The sticks have a Tear Drop-shaped tip and are turned with a Medium taper. The material is American Hickory, carefully selected before manufacturing. The diameter is 16mm and the length is 412.8mm.

Sound and Feel

The nylon tip gives a clearer and more defined ride sound compared with a wood tip. Tone, durability, playability and absorption of vibrations come together in these sticks. They give more punch in snare drum and toms, and last longer under hard playing.

Use

The 2BN is suitable for practising snare drum technique or for use in marching. Compared with regular marching sticks they are slimmer but still sturdy, which makes them popular among drummers who hit hard and want extra power and rebound.
