The Vic Firth 1A American Classic® is an unusually long drumstick with a tapered wood tip, giving it a powerful yet responsive feel. In thickness it sits between a 5A and 5B, but the extra length gives it a distinctive reach and balance. A good option if you want more leverage in your stroke without moving up to a thicker stick.
