Vater Long Range Bomber
Bass drum beater (Long Range Bomber) from Vater, with a longer shaft for larger bass drums than the Vintage Bomber. Cork core with synthetic cover.
Product Description
The Long Range Bomber is Vater's bass drum beater built to the same specifications as the classic Vintage Bomber, but with a longer shaft that reaches larger bass drums. A cork core wrapped in soft, puffy synthetic material gives it a soft yet boomy jazz sound.
The Vintage Bomber was developed together with Otis Brown III, drummer for jazz legend Joe Lovano, to capture the look, feel and sound of the original lambswool beaters from decades past. The soft strike against the head and the round, boomy tone stay close to the originals, just with more modern materials underneath.
The Long Range Bomber is the same beater at its core, only with a longer shaft. That makes it a good choice if you play a deeper or larger bass drum and still want the same soft attack as the original.
