Vater 5A 4-Pack

Product Description

The Vater 5A Wood Tip Los Angeles is a hickory drumstick with a wood tip, a classic 5A model suited to most styles and playing situations. Hickory offers a solid balance of strength and weight, while the wood tip gives a warm, rounded tone on cymbals and drumheads.

5A is one of the most widely used stick sizes and works well as an all-round choice, whether you're playing rock, pop, or jazz. A wood tip differs from a nylon tip by producing a softer, more organic cymbal sound, something many players prefer when they want a natural rather than sharp attack.

Who It's For

A solid choice if you want a reliable, everyday stick without overthinking size or material. Works just as well as a first proper pair of sticks as it does as a trusted go-to once you already know 5A is your size.
