Upright EBX
Upright EBX, a sample library with an acoustic upright bass from Toontrack. Piezo pickup, five mic configurations, presets and MIDI basslines.
Product Description
Upright EBX is a sample library from Toontrack built around a handpicked, acoustic upright bass. The instrument has been sampled to capture its complex and unique tonal hallmarks, and the library comes with a broad selection of presets plus a custom MIDI content of basslines.
The upright bass has a slightly muffled but vibrantly resonant, earthy and dark timbre that has shaped jazz, rock, pop and acoustic music for centuries. Upright EBX is built for use in any composition where the bass is plucked and needs to cut through the mix.
Recording and content
- A meticulously captured, handpicked acoustic upright bass
- Recorded using an onboard piezo pickup as well as five different microphone configurations
- A broad collection of presets covering various genres, styles and microphone blends
- A custom MIDI library tailored for fretless/upright playing styles
Who It's For
A great choice if you produce jazz, rock, pop or acoustic music and want a convincing, alive upright bass tone without recording the real instrument.
