Product Description
A compact aluminium darbuka with a cast hoop and black marble finish – an easy-to-play hand drum with crisp attack and quick response. The aluminium body gives a bright, cutting tone that comes through clearly whether you're playing solo or with a group.
At 20 cm in diameter and 38 cm long, the drum sits comfortably under the arm or on the lap, while still leaving room for a full range of strokes – from deep "doum" hits to sharp "tek" strikes. The head is tuned using 5 tuning screws, making it easy to fine-tune the pitch to taste and playing situation.
The aluminium shell is durable yet fairly light, keeping the drum comfortable to hold through longer playing sessions.
