Trumslagaren Stick 5B is the latest batch of our own drumstick model, pulled from Wincent's second-grade (B-stock) selection. These are genuine 5B sticks made from the same wood and basic construction as the first-grade sticks – but they've been sorted out of the premium tier and sold at a lower price as a result. A good choice if you want proper 5B sticks without paying full price.

Second-grade means the sticks didn't meet Wincent's requirements for first-grade selection, and that means real deviations – not just minor blemishes. The sticks can have visible discoloration in the wood, be noticeably bowed rather than perfectly straight, and the pairs aren't matched for weight or pitch. The weight difference between two sticks in the same pair can be noticeable when you play, and the variation can be larger than on a regular first-grade pair. That's exactly what you should expect here – genuine second-grade, not "almost perfect".

For home practice, rehearsal room use, or as a spare pair in your stick bag, these kinds of deviations rarely matter. You get the same 5B size and the same basic feel as the standard range, at a lower price.
