Trumset Superstar Classic CK52KRS-ISP, klädda lönnstommar i Indigo Sparkle finish

Product Description

The Tama Superstar Classic is a 5-piece shell pack with 100% maple shells, built to deliver far more sound than its price tag suggests. Thanks to Tama's Star-Cast mounting system, the toms are free to vibrate, giving the kit an open, full tone right out of the box.

Superstar Classic takes its design cues from the legendary Superstar series of the 1970s, sharing the same classic T-logo and a similar lug style. Despite the low price, this kit stands firmly on its own sonic merits. The thin, resonant maple shells are fully modern in construction.

Construction and mounting

The toms and snare drum feature 6-ply maple shells at 5 mm, while the bass drum is built from 8-ply maple at 7 mm. The Star-Cast Mounting System lets the toms hang freely for optimal resonance instead of being dampened by the mount. The bass drum carries a double tom holder (Omnisphere Tom Holder), fitted with Tama's classic Omnisphere L-arm for solid adjustability and stable positioning of the mounted toms. The lugs are Low Mass Lugs, in Tama's classic design, and the bass drum's claw hooks come with protective rubber spacers to keep the hoop free from wear marks.

Heads

The stock heads are perfectly fine but don't quite match the shells' full sonic potential. Swapping them for a more premium pair further down the line is an easy first step when you want to fine-tune the kit's sound to your taste.

Who It's For

A great choice if you want a genuinely playable drum kit with real maple shells, without paying flagship prices. Equally at home in the practice room and on your first gig.
