Product Description
S-hoop is a patented drum hoop that combines the benefits of triple-flanged and die-cast hoops. It improves your drum's sound, protects the shell, and extends the life of your drumsticks.
S-hoop is essentially a triple-flanged hoop, but with a 10 mm wide top edge that angles slightly downward. This design makes the hoop sturdier, making the drum easier to tune – much like a die-cast hoop. Compared to die-cast hoops, S-hoop is lighter while its top edge still protects the shell's edges.
Improved surface for rim shots
S-hoop's main strength is the improved surface for rim shots. They become not only easier to play evenly, but also put considerably less strain on both sticks and wrists. If you've had trouble with sticks breaking due to rim shots, this is a solution worth trying.
