Trick Drums USA 3-Pos Throw Off - Black Chrome

Product Description

The GS007 is a strainer system from Trick Drums USA, one of the most-used strainers in today's custom drum industry. This version, the 3-Pos Throw Off, has three fixed stops plus an off position and comes in a Black Chrome finish. It's built around a central vertical stainless-steel shaft.

Construction

At the core of the GS007 is a central vertical stainless-steel shaft driven by two bearings and controlled with an extremely smooth rotating lever. The precision-fit parts make this a stable and easy-to-use strainer. The lever, body and other parts are precision CNC machined from aircraft-grade AL13 aluminum, combined with powerful and durable stainless steel.

Three steps instead of just on/off

Unlike a traditional strainer with only on and off, this Multi Step version has three fixed stops plus an off position. This gives you a dynamic range of snare tension for different sounds and playing styles, without having to manually adjust the tension knob every time.

Mounting

GS007 strainers fit most shells. Some drilling may be required for direct mounting. Aftermarket retrofit kits exist, however, that let the GS007 fit virtually any drum without drilling or other shell modifications.

Who It's For

A great choice if you want a robust, precision-built strainer with multiple fixed tension settings instead of dialing in tension by hand every time.
