SIGU drums Ash Batter Side 14" - Lacquered
Ash wood snare hoop, batter side, for 14" drum with 10 lugs. Adds high-frequency attack and a balanced mix of mids and lows.
Product Description
A wooden snare hoop made from Ash by SIGU Drums, for the batter side of a 14" snare drum with 10 lugs. The hoop comes finished with a water-based lacquer and gives a louder attack with plenty of high-frequency bite along with a flat, even mix of mids and lows.
Ash is just as hard as Oak, but it's used in drum building specifically because it gives more loudness with plenty of high-frequency attack and a flat mix of mids and lows. That makes this hoop a good pick if you want a snare drum with a more cutting-through batter side attack without losing low-end fullness.
The hoop is finished with a specially selected, environmentally friendly water-based lacquer. Since it's made from natural wood, grain and colour can vary slightly from the picture.
