The Rock Chronicles

Product Description

The Rock Chronicles is a MIDI pack for EZdrummer and Superior Drummer that gathers rock groove across six decades, from early rock 'n' roll to modern alternative rock. It's performed by British session drummer Stephen Gilchrist (The Damned, Cardiacs, Graham Coxon) and gives you around 450 individually played files to build songs with.

One thing has followed rock through every era: groove. From the early days of rock 'n' roll, through the prog and backbeat-driven expressions of the 1970s, the arena-sized backbeats of the 1980s, the odd rhythms of the art rock scene, and the relaxed feel of alternative rock, groove has been a constant.

Gilchrist moves freely between past and present, stopping at the key milestones that shaped rock drumming as we know it. From sixties-flavored grooves that helped kick-start the rock revolution, through thundering classic rock chops, to odd prog beats, angular art rock rhythms, and relaxed alternative feels.
