Funk Fusion EBX

Product Description

Funk Fusion EBX is a sound expansion for EZbass, built around a handcrafted five-string electric bass that spans everything from vintage thud to razor-sharp high fidelity. It includes custom MIDI, a broad set of presets, and articulations tailored for funk and fusion, ready to drop straight into your track.

The bass is a flawlessly luthier-built, current-era instrument, handpicked from a selection of instruments to handle the subtleties of jazz as well as the output of rock. It was sampled using traditional finger and slap techniques, plus an articulation entirely new to EZbass: left-hand mute. This technique produces tight, distinct performances similar to palm mute on an electric guitar, and it's essential to the sound of these genres.

Presets and MIDI

Beyond the bass itself, this EBX includes a broad selection of presets along with a basic collection of basslines tailored for funk and fusion. The presets cover the full spectrum from classic and muffled to big, spacey, and saturated. Two presets even layer in an FM synth, letting you blend a classic synth bass texture on top of the regular instrument. The included MIDI library has everything you need to get going with any funk- or fusion-inspired track.

Groove-first design

Expect an EBX with an off-the-charts groove factor, offering slap, pop, slide, rhythmic, and syncopated sounds so the bass does far more than just tag along.
