10", 12", 14" + 14" Evans Tom Pack UV1 Fusion snare - Coated

Product Description

Tom Pack UV1 Coated Fusion contains heads for 10'', 12'' and 14'' toms, plus a 14'' snare head.

Construction

The material is a single-ply head made from 10 mil thick film, which according to the manufacturer makes it the most durable single-ply head on the market. The head has Level 360 Technology, which gives a good fit and makes it easy to tune, along with a broad tuning range.

Sound

The heads give a broad sound palette with a dynamic sound, where the top end is brilliant and the bottom is full. Playing softly off-centre gives overtones with a clear identity, while harder hits give a rounder attack reminiscent of two-ply heads.

Tuning

Tuned low, the head has a softer attack with good bottom end. Tuned high, the sound becomes more focused with a firm attack and full core.

Use

With their broad tuning range and dynamic character, the heads suit a wide range of musical contexts.
