Toca Gathering Drum Freestyle II 18"x8" - Woodstock Purple

Product Description

The Toca Freestyle II Gathering Drum is a lightweight hand drum with a robust PVC body and a deep, ample bass tone. The heads are pre-tuned and can be removed to be played directly in the hand, making the drum flexible for both seated playing and more improvised hand percussion.

• Robust PVC body
• Lightweight
• Weather resistant and easy to clean
• Pre-tuned synthetic leatherette heads
• Deep bass tone with ample bass
• Heads can be easily removed and also played in the hand

Build and Care

The PVC body makes the drum more resistant to moisture and weather than a comparable wooden drum, while also keeping it lighter to carry. The surface wipes clean easily, which makes it practical for both outdoor practice and everyday use.

Sound and Playability

The synthetic leatherette heads come pre-tuned, so the drum is ready to play straight out of the box. It's described as having a deep tone with ample bass. The heads can be removed from the body, opening up the option to play them separately, like a hand drum.

This model is also available in an additional size and finish, in case Woodstock Purple in 18"x8" isn't the right fit.
