Sound and Feel

The Alpine strings' low-stretch, braided construction gives this djembe a voluminous bass response while keeping rim sounds crisp and precise. According to the manufacturer, the 12" version is one of the sizes where the bass really stands out. The high tuning stability means the drum holds its tune well over time, useful both for practice sessions and more demanding playing situations.

Build

The shell is made from lightweight yet durable PVC, making the djembe easy to carry while withstanding everyday wear. The lower shell edges feature a protective rubber coating that reduces the risk of damage during transport and use. The head is natural skin.
