Toca Magma Freestyle 7" - Green Magma

Product Description

The Toca Magma Freestyle is a 7" djembe with a lightweight, durable PVC shell, a natural head, and a rubber-protected lower shell edge. Alpine braided-core strings deliver crisp, precise rim sounds with high tuning stability, making this a great grab-and-go djembe.

• Lightweight and durable PVC shell
• Rubber coating on the lower shell edge
• Natural head
• Alpine low-stretch braided core strings

The shell is molded from lightweight PVC, keeping the drum sturdy yet easy to carry to rehearsals or gigs. The lower edge of the shell is coated in rubber to protect it from knocks and wear when set down.

The natural head gives a warm, authentic djembe tone. The Alpine-style strings use a low-stretch braided core that holds its tuning well over time. In the larger sizes in the same line (10" and 12"), the same string construction delivers a particularly voluminous bass. On this 7" model, that same construction instead shows up as crisp, precise rim sounds with high tuning stability.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want a lightweight djembe for practice at home, jam sessions, or smaller ensemble settings where a compact size is an advantage.
