The Toca Magma Freestyle is a djembe built from lightweight, durable PVC with a natural head, tuned for voluminous bass and crisp, precise rim tones. At 12" in diameter, it's an easy drum to bring along to rehearsal, jam sessions or the studio.

The PVC shell keeps the drum light to carry while remaining tough in everyday use, and the rubber coating on the lower edges protects against knocks and scuffs when the drum is set down or transported. The natural head gives a classic djembe tone with clear attack.

The Alpine low-stretch braided core strings are designed to deliver a sound with voluminous bass, an effect that's especially noticeable on the 10" and 12" versions of this model. At the same time, the design delivers crisp, precise rim sounds with high tuning stability, so the drum holds its tuning over time.
