Toca Magma Freestyle 10" - Blue Magma

Product Description

The Toca Magma Freestyle is a 10" djembe built on a lightweight, durable PVC shell for stable tuning and a bright, direct feel under the hands. Natural heads and Alpine low-stretch braided core strings give it a sound with plenty of bass and crisp, well-defined rim tones.

• Lightweight and durable PVC shell
• Lower shell edge with protective rubber coating
• Natural heads
• Alpine low-stretch braided core strings for high tuning stability

Sound and Feel

The braided Alpine strings keep the drum in tune even during heavy playing, while contributing to a sound with voluminous bass. Especially noticeable on the 10" and 12" versions. Rim sounds come through crisp and precise, making it easy to separate bass, tone, and slap.

Construction

The PVC shell is light to carry yet tough enough for travel and frequent use. The lower shell edge has a protective rubber coating that reduces wear against floors and hard surfaces.

Who It's For

A solid choice if you want a djembe that holds its tuning well over time without sacrificing durability or portability. Equally at home in practice sessions and group playing.
