The Erik Piza Quinto is an 11-inch fiberglass conga, the smallest and brightest size in Toca's signature series with percussionist Erik Piza. It features synthetic Remo heads mounted on Easy Play tension hoops for smoother tuning. Finished in gloss black with colour splashes, it works as well on stage as in the rehearsal room.

Construction

The shell is molded fiberglass, a material that gives a brighter attack and more even projection than wood shells. The heads are synthetic Remo heads that hold their tuning well regardless of humidity or temperature. The tension hoops are Easy Play type, designed to make the tension lugs easier to reach and turn. The hardware consists of 8 mm tension lugs and side plates with rubber gaskets that protect the shell, all finished in Black Mirror Chrome, matching the gloss black shell with colour splashes.
