Toca Custom Deluxe Quinto 11"

Product Description

The Toca Conga Custom Deluxe Quinto is an 11-inch conga built in an Afro-Cuban design for more volume and resonance. With a parawood shell, natural heads and sturdy chrome hardware, it's a solid choice for players who want a reliable quinto for rehearsal or the stage.

• 11" quinto size, the smallest and highest-pitched in the conga family
• Parawood shell
• Natural heads
• Easy Play Hoops tension hoops for comfortable hand playing
• 8 mm tension lugs and side plates with rubber gaskets
• Chrome hardware finish

The shape and proportions draw on classic Afro-Cuban conga design, which according to the manufacturer gives more volume and resonance than a more generic build. The Easy Play Hoops make the head gentler on your hands during long playing sessions, while the 8 mm tension lugs and rubber-gasketed side plates keep the hardware stable and quieter against rattling. As a quinto, this conga is intended to be played alongside larger congas in a set, or on its own as the brightest voice in a percussion setup.
