ProMark PST4 Performer Series
Performer Series timpani mallet, maple shaft with felt head, staccato articulation. Fast response, great feel.
Product Description
The PST4 is a timpani mallet from ProMark's Performer Series, built with a tapered maple shaft and a felt head with staccato articulation. A great choice for percussionists at any level, from beginner to professional, who want a mallet with excellent feel and response.
The tapered maple shaft gives the mallet its balance and quick response to strokes. All five models in the Performer Series share the same core construction, but the PST4 is the staccato version, meaning a shorter, more articulated tone compared to a softer mallet.
The felt head produces a warm yet clear tone against the timpani head, suited for percussionists who want clear articulation in their playing.
