ProMark PST2 Performer Medium-Soft
ProMark Performer timpani mallet, maple shaft and felt head, medium-soft. Great feel and response for all levels.
Product Description
The PST2 Performer is a timpani mallet from ProMark's Performer Series, featuring a maple shaft and a felt head. It's built for medium-soft articulation and is an excellent choice for any percussionist, from beginner to professional.
The tapered maple shaft gives the mallet an excellent feel in the hand and a quick, responsive feel at impact. The PST2 is part of a series of five models that all share the same tapered maple shaft, but differ in articulation, so you can choose the feel that suits your playing best.
Construction
The felt head gives the mallet its medium-soft character, a good balance between a full sound and a defined attack. The shaft measures 0.5" (12.7 mm) in diameter and 15" (38.1 cm) in length.
Who It's For
A solid choice whether you're just starting out on timpani or an experienced percussionist looking for a reliable mallet with consistent response.
