Product Description
Pre-tuned Evans Strata timpani head, 28.5 inches, delivering a warm tone similar to calfskin with clear, distinct pitch definition. More durable than traditional timpani heads, it's a great choice for players who want calfskin character without the extra upkeep.
The Strata heads are designed to give the same warm, classic timpani tone traditionally associated with calfskin, but with significantly greater durability over time. The tone is clear and well-defined, making the head easy to tune and play with precision.
It features the same stable rim/collar construction used on Evans ET heads, providing reliable tuning stability.
