27" Evans Strata
Evans Strata 27" timpani head. Warm, calfskin-like tone with clear definition and improved durability.
Product Description
The Evans Strata is a pre-tuned 27" timpani head built for orchestral timpani that need a warm, calfskin-like tone. It delivers a clear, well-defined pitch and holds up better over time than traditional timpani heads.
The tone recalls genuine calfskin, but Strata heads are more durable in daily use than traditional timpani heads. They share the same stable hoops as Evans' ET heads, giving consistent, reliable tuning on the drum.
