Evans Strata 25.5" pre-tuned timp head. Warm, calfskin-like tone with clear, defined pitch.
Product Description
The Evans Timp Head 25.5" is a pre-tuned Strata head for timpani, delivering a warm tone similar to calfskin with a clear, defined pitch. Strata heads are more durable than traditional timpani heads.
Being pre-tuned, this head is ready to mount straight away. The tone character sits close to classic calfskin sound while offering improved durability, with a clear and well-defined pitch suited for orchestral use. Strata heads share the same stable hoops as Evans' ET heads.
