Product Description
The RimRiser USA gives your snare drum a raised rim edge that makes rim clicks noticeably easier to play cleanly and consistently. It fits nearly all snare drums, with either pressed or die-cast hoops, and mounts easily using the included tension/mounting screw.
Rim clicks rely on the stick having a stable edge to rest against. The RimRiser raises that edge so the stick gets a clearer stop point to strike from, making the technique easier to control – especially useful for quieter passages or when you want a more distinct click in the sound.
Mounting
The RimRiser is mounted onto one of the existing lugs in three simple steps:
- Remove one of the tension rods.
- Assemble the included parts as shown in the picture.
- Mount onto the lug and tighten. Done!
The product is available in blue, black and chrome.
