The Classic MIDI is a MIDI pack from Toontrack featuring two extensive libraries recorded by two very different drummers. It gives you ready-made, musical grooves for fast, easy songwriting without programming drums beat by beat.

The pack comes from the EZdrummer sound expansion of the same name and features the same MIDI data included in The Classic EZX. One library is played by Chris Whitten, the drummer behind The Classic EZX, who revisits grooves from some of the biggest recordings and tours of his career. Chris is hailed as a world-class drummer and has played with artists including Paul McCartney and Julian Cope, and bands such as World Party, The Pretenders and Dire Straits.

The second library is played by Toontrack MIDI veteran Peter Fredlander, known from the widely popular Monster MIDI Pack series. Peter's library is organized as different songs with variations of 4-8 bar building blocks, and each song also features a full "Jamtrack" from start to finish that you can use as-is or pull sections from.

Works with EZdrummer, EZdrummer 2, Superior Drummer 2 and Superior Drummer 3. The MIDI is optimized for a kit with 1 kick, 1 snare, 2 toms, 1 floor tom, 2 crash cymbals and 1 ride cymbal.
